[SOLVED] Signup details not recorded Hi, I have just noticed that some of my new members only have their username and email recorded in the aMember Db. I have tested the signup process myself and I am unable to complete the process unless I have ALL fields entered. These are then reflected in the aMember Db just fine. Any ideas how some members are getting around the "required fields" on signup? (....this suggests intent I know and it may just be an error where the fields are failing to be recorded, either way I need to fix it.) Any help appreciated. Cheers Rusty
Maybe they removed their details using the member profile page? Check your settings in: Admin CP > Setup/Configuration > Advanced > "User can change the following fields"
Thanks for the idea. I just checked it and while I allow users to change some details, even those that I don't allow are missing from some user profiles..... so unfortunately that is not the answer. Thanks again anyway, it was worth a look. Rusty
PROBLEM SOLVED: Sorry, it was my bad. It turns out that these latest members are in fact returning members from 2007. This is prior to aMember managing my gallery users. When I setup aMember I imported the existing users (username/pass & email only) from my gallery database. So while these latest subscriptions seemed to come from new members to me, they are in fact old existing members who didn't need to "signup" through the aMember process where the missing data would have been collected.
