no. i wouldn't reinstall it. i would send a ticket to the amember support team and get them to have a look.

Just a guess. Try going to admin section > setup / config -> languages -> and change the default language to something else, and then change it back to English. see if that helps.

(those #words# are variables in the language files....)

This looks like your language file is goofed.

    check:

    1) permissions of \amember\language and files
    2) that \amember\language\en.php (or whatever custom language you selected) is present and that the file has data in it (check for #_TPL_SIGNUP_ADDR#)

Another possibility is that the signup template file was edited by something like dreamweaver which goofed up the smarty code.

Did you modify the language file? How about the signup template?

That would be my guess too.

yep, re-upload your language file from the original zip file you got amember in and see if that works... and check the permissions on that file/folder, make sure it's readable...

Did you get this fixed? I tried uploading my language file, and changed permissions to where they're all readable but mine is still messed up too.

    resteve,

it is not just the language file. If you have modified your amember\templates\signup.html (or amember\signup.php) than you may want to back up your changes and reupload the ones from the .zip file to see if that is the issue.

Alex got with me today and had me reupload the templates, smarty, and language directories and that didn't help either. :(

Can you post a link to your site or an image of what you are seeing in your signup?

Is it just the signup page that you are seeing this with?

Looks like your aMember is brand new based on your screen shot. .just remove the Db and files and start over.

I noticed that if you do not include the footer, or header in the template, it behaves like that.

Make sure you have the footer and header referenced in the template.

My installation behaved the same way from the start.
I noticed that my database password contained special characters like: /(,,
I gave the database user a different password, removing those special characters.
I then updated the new password within the config.inc.php file.
This resolved the issue and my signup form now displays correctly.

Did you get the signup form sorted?

I have exactly the same problem. I have re-uploaded original language files and not modified anything in the template or language file. Any suggestions???

Please contact us via helpdesk with ftp info. I personally have not heard about such a problem before.
