    Hi,

I have an online magazine. We sell subscriptions for 1 year and also single issues. I want to make sure Amember can do what I want and is the best solution. We will have much less than 500 transactions a month and low volume. We are currently doing everything manually and accepting paypals. We want to continue allowing paypal as a method but we are adding a payment method such as verisign or similar. It appears I am needing to buy several pieces to make this work including AMEMBER, a shopping cart package listed on your supported list, a service like verisign for about 20 bucks and month plus a merchant account. That is about 4 items. I have a very limited budget since we are a startup business.

QUESTION: I want PHP and this site says CGI all over it. I assume this is PHP and supports MySQL and will go smoothly on my Redhat9 apache server.

QUESTION: What is one of the most popular payment services with the merchant account that I can get. Do you have some top recommendations?

QUESTION: If I integrate this with my FORUM (Invision Board) can I have some members have access to the magazine on the other part of the site and some forum members NOT? I am kinda thinking I might have to keep the public forum separate SQL db than the forum users but not sure which is a better idea and the granularity of control I have on users.

    Thanks!

    1. Our company named "CGI-Central".
aMember Pro is written in PHP / MySQl.

    2. I can recommend this one:
    www.charge.com
they are resellers of LinkPoint and they offer merchant accounts for it.

    3. it is possible to assign paid members into a special Invision Board usergroup, which will be allowed to access some forums, while usual members will not.
