I am setting up amember on a site for a client that is already accepting PayPal payments. He wants to keep accepting those payments until I am done. If I setup his PayPal account to work with amember paypal_r plugin am I going to mess up his current method of accepting payments?

    Thanks for any help.

No, just do not change configuration in his paypal account, and leave IPN url setting as is.

So the client has paypal already integrated with amember? Not sure what you are asking then?
Or are they are accepting paypal for another system?

They are accepting PayPal payments on their website but not thru Amember. We are switching him to amember. I didn't want to make the changes to his PayPal account that are needed for amember to work if it will mess up his current method of accepting payments.

amember has a paypal IPN "Resend Postback" area, so you can send the IPN to the other system as well.

Your existing payments though- this is a pain as far as user migration.
You will need to give lifetime access to the moved members, then manually cancel them when they cancel at paypal for the old system.
