Small Coupons Bug

    This post is to inform aMember and others who may be searching this issue in the future.

    Our aMember version is 3.0.8

    I noticed that when we create coupons with a 100% discount and no expiration, the expiration time was not being set. Saving the batch, then resetting the no expiration option seems to solve this.

    Second, on the Product details page, we had a product with a trial period of 0 days. This was apparently creating problems. That “0” must be “null” (completely blank). Again, this had to be deleted and saved a couple of times for the update to stick. Just an FYI; a 100% discount will still prompt for payment details if a product is recurring for the future payments (I think a recurring coupon feature will be released soon).

    I consider this a small issue, but it did take some time figuring out exactly where our problem was occurring. Well, now it’s in the Forum and might save someone an hour of frustration. :confused:

    And yeah, we still love aMember and would recommend it without hesitation.
