How do you setup the SMF plugin to integrate with SMF
My SMF's DB uses a different login than my Amember installation.

As far as I can tell I'm only able to define the DB and Table..

I need to define a different user it appears.....is that possible?

SMF board db and prefix - incorrect value. Error: Access denied for user 'foo'@'localhost' to database 'foo'

I'm not sure why the SMF plugin would assume you're going to use the same login as amember for both smf and amember..

If you have access to PHPMyadmin via Cpanel then you should be able to add the amember database user to your SMF database so that it has priviledges to make changes to the SMF database.

    Hi there.

Email me at phill@getresults.co.nz or skype me (username: nzsixthsense) and I'll help you get SMF set up.

I just bought the SMF plugin a few weeks ago and the lack of any documentation makes it a bit of a nightmare to figure out. Especially given the latest version of SMF did not work with the plugin I was sent - I had to request the new version.

Drop me a line and I'll help get you sorted. I'll make some notes at the same time and post them back to the forum to help other users trying to install SMF.

    Thanks,

    Phill
