    Hi,

I have recently been informed that Authorize.net will be changing from SSL 2.0 to SSL 3.0/TLS 1.0 protocols. I have been advised to make sure that all applications or intergrations support SSL 3.0 otherwise payments may no longer work after 16th March.

Does AMember support SSL 3.0 ???

    From aMember support:

    ---
During the week of March 16 - 20, 2009, Authorize.Net will be deprecating all legacy support for the SSL 2.0 protocol. Changes have recently been made to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which have made the use of SSL 2.0 a PCI DSS violation.

Due to this change, it is critical that you update any applications or integrations that may be using the SSL 2.0 protocol to support the more current SSL 3.0/TLS 1.0 protocols. Failure to upgrade your applications or integrations may result in a lost ability to successfully process transactions via the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway.... contact Authorize.net for the rest.

Where did you get this information? I use Authorize.net and did not hear about the change, or see anything about it on the website.

Do you have a link about it?

I am also a long term Authorize.NET user and I did not get a message on it either.

It appears that it went to members that are a part of the Authorize.NET developer network (ie. those that are building apps) to alert them.

This might help for anyone that wants to verify. Please post back one way or the other.
