Hey there. I am getting quite a few accounts set up, and about 30% of them are set at Not-Paid. (now this isnt the same pending issue I have read about on the forum, I am not getting an actual payment in my PayPal, so I am wondering if there is an error somewhere in transferring the user to the payment page). As for other successful signups, they are working fine.

There could be a few reasons for this:
    a. user backs out of the sale when they get to the payment page
    b. user's card is declined when trying to pay
    c. an error in the script when sending the user to the payment page.

As for a); I cannot see this as a reason. They user knows the cost already, they have spent the time filling out the form entirely and selecting a payment solution. They have already made a decision to buy, so I cannot see them just backing out when they hit the Clickbank/paypal page. Plus, there are users that try to pay several times (even trying to use both solutions) with the same not-paid result.

for b), could be a reason. But again, why would a user come back and try to purchase again with a different payment solution but the same card? Doesnt really make sense.

    c) could be the reason why they fill out all of the info, select a solution, commit to buy but then cannot actually complete payment.

I see so many other users signing up fine, and I also tested it several times, no issues. Do you think this can happen on some users but not others? Any one else seeing this with their business? Is it normal?

anybody????? no ideas? Just this week I had over 1000$ is purchases but none of them were completed. In my admin area, under payments, I can see the accounts being set up, I can see which payment solution they chose (either clickbank or paypal) and then I see Status: Not Paid.

One of the users made 11 different attempts, so I cannot see this as a user error or credit card decline or a user backing out at the last minute. There has to be some type of disconnect from when the user selects Continue on aMember to sending them to the payment page.

I tried to email the users, but so far have not heard from them... and I also tested things out myself, and I cannot pinpoint any errors, it works for me.... so I am baffled!!!

    Hi
Have you got email confirmation switched on. I have this problem too.

The confirmation email actually comes down before they are sent on to paypal.

Therefore if they do not get their confirmation email (and sometimes it seems not to come for many hours). Then they cannot finish the payment process.

I am having real problems with this. The other issue is that many email servers treat the confirmation email as spam.

I have no solutions as yet.

    Hope someone else has!!!!!

    Cheers for now

Hey there, thanks for the msg.
I do not have confirmation emails on. I deliberately turned them off a few months back to see whether this was an issue. For my case, it has nothing to do with the conf.emails not getting thru, the user will automatically go to the payment page once they complete the form and hit Continue.

And the wierd thing is, it is not like they DO complete payment and I have it in my paypal/clickbank account but amember does not register it, they are NOT completing the payment at all... as if their card was declined, or they do not get to the payment page at all after hitting continue. Something along those lines.
