Step 3 Of 6

i have the latest copy of aMember. i have followed the how-to word for word with regard to setup, however the http based setup fails on step 3 of 6. there is no apparent error message the screen has a heard contating "step 3 of 6" and the rest of the screen is gray.

Could some adivse as to where i have gone wrong?

Most possible your hosting has no support for MySQL. Does it?

i'm running my own linux www server it has full mysql and php support.....

Please do the following:

create .php file with the following content:

<? phpinfo(); ?>

upload it somewhere on the server and access this file with browser. Please seek for word "mysql" - what did you see?
