I run a Cam Girl site, no nuidty or anything, but paypal shut down our account due to "mature" content supposedly. (No nudity etc tho!).

Anyway, the $300 in the account will supposedly be sent to us in 6months when they release it.

Anyhow......we next tried Stormpay. All went well setting it up, payments started coming in, $290 in the account within a few days ($17 monthly membershps to the site).

    BUUUUUUUT......Chargebacks!!! WE LOST EVERYTHING.

From $300+ we had $25 left, due to chargebacks, which i "believe" are when people purchase the subscription, the IPN lets them in thru amember, and then they ring their card company and cancel the transaction........so they have access to our site, they get their money back......but whats worse is STORMPAY CHARGE $35 every time this happens, and LOADS of poeple were doing it, and wiped us out :(.

Very very sad about this, it seems people were doing it intentionally to scam us....everyone bar a few poeple did it :(.

Now desparatly searching for a decent payment provider.....theres no nudity, but just underwear shots etc......trying Ikobo now....fingers crossed!

Wish us luck for the future...and avoid Stormpay at all costs!

    Cheers mate!

Nochex is cool as were UK based, but limits us to a UK customer base, and most are american....so need to accept Visa!.

Ikobo account is setup, just waiting for the AMember/Ikobo plugin and we'll be in action again!

PS 90% of our content is still photos, two categories, low quality "webcam" stills, and also lots of high quality digital images.

There is a 1hr "webcam" show for about 1hr a week, thats it...lol. Seems thats what the customers want, so thats what we'll do :).

    Can't you delete them?

How is it that they have access to the site? Can't you delete them from the database and therefore keep them from logging in?

Of course, it is always possible with aMember. But it won't return lost money ;)

Yep, they are deleted as soon as I realise, same day, but usually means theyve had a good 6 hours of browsing through my content for free

Alex, email on its way :D

That's a pretty nasty thing that happened to you. I don't think stormpay should allow things like that to happen. They should have some sort of chargeback protection or something like that.
I'm also interested in how things are going with ikobo. I think I've read somewhere thy have chargeback protection, so that's a plus.
