With a quarterly magazine, how do we protect previous issues from being viewed by new subscribers thruout the year? We offer annual subscriptions and monthly subscriptions.

This is what I call the "Book of the Month" model.

Unfortunately theres no way to automatically do this that I know of.
Ive put in a request to alex to have this added, but would be good if others did to.

Manually- you would have to keep creating a new product every month, and give a coupon to your active members for the new product.

I am in exactly the same boat. I've been trying to figure out work arounds for this for the past few days, and can't figure anything out. We would like to offer annual subscriptions (that would begin with current issue), and then possibly individual issues as well. I understand how to sell the individual copies, but the annual subscriptions are the tangle.

David, I've been playing around with the coupons on my demo install, but can't quite figure out how you think this should work. I can email a coupon for access to the latest issue to my current active annual subscribers. BUT how do I keep that coupon from getting around so that folks who haven't paid for an annual subscription at all could also use it to gain access to the same issue?

Also, what's annoying is that the coupon, even if it's for a free issue (100% discount) still requires users to select a payment method, which is annoying, especially if we want to offer free access to advertisers.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, I'll request it as well.
