    Hi

Can you help with the technical side of an analytical marketing qurestion.

We currently sell a subscription at $27 using amember. But we want to find out if we would get more revenue if we dropped the price (which should increase the number of subscribers). We COULD just change the price for a couple of weeks, but as sign-up levels fluctuate, this wouldn't be very scientific.

What we want to do is offer half of the people who visit our signup.php page one price and half another price and see what the different sign-up rates are for these 2 groups of visitors.

To make things more complicated, people are directed to our signup.php page from literally hundreds of different links all over our main website, so changing some of those links to the pricegroup for the test price product (we have set up a separate product at the test price) is not an option either.

We use Vertster.com for analytical marketing of different headlines or text on plain html pages. We wondered if there is a way that the product id and price group could be changed using Vertster once someone had visited https://www.mindtools.com/amember/signup.php?product_id=7.

    Thanks

    Helena

    Helena,
unfortunately, there are no ways to do that without custom programming.
