Hi....our non-profit organization is using PHPList -- They're "okay" but the email has not been doing any major upgrade or lack of reponses to some of our questions.

I have been researching paid web-based email services -- very few have API. I'm looking at VerticalResponse -- they have both email and survey. I emailed to Support Desk to see if they have plug-in available or will they make one or not.

I wonder if anyone have an opinion (pro and con) about using third party web-based email hook up with aMember? Majority of our email/newsletter will be sent both members and non-members.

I have thought about ListMail Pro but their website seems to be dead and doesn't tell me much about their email. When I checked last week, I was surprise they upgrade recently. Anyone know if they're very much alive with future and exciting features?

Sorry I'm asking a lot here. I am in minority because I deal with non-profit organization and we're looking for low or no cost software.

    Thanks.
    Dave

I use listmail for my site and am satisfied with it-
    Listmail change list:
    http://www.listmailpro.com/changes.php

If looking for a 3rd party, aweber is very popluar, but it doesnt hook well into amember.
