Trial membership not working properly.

    I've set up a trial membership product where the customer pays $1 for the first 7 days and then $19.99 from then onwards. everything works fine with paypal But when they go to log in they get the following message

    "Access to this membership area is not allowed. Please go to "Membership information page" to renew or add subscription"

    I then have to manually give them access by adding another product.

    Any idea what may be causing this?

    I am using the latest version

    I've had this problem for months and couldn't work out why within 5 minutes of posting I worked out what was wrong..... hadn't allowed the product number to access the protected folders..
