    Hello,

I'm trying to integrate aMember with Invision 2.1, but I'm running into a problem.

When I try to login via Invision, it tells me that the user does not exist.

I specified the right database name, and the "login" and "pass" fields for username and password. I also added a check for "status = 1"

I confirmed that the test user was in my aMember database with appropriate values.

Still, the result from Invision was the user does not exist (I have told Invision to use the aMember database for remote authentication).

Any ideas where I may be going wrong?

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve

    Steve,
how did you told Invision to use aMember for remote authentication? I'm not aware of such feature.

Invision has a "Log In Manager" which you can enable instead of internal login. You then have to change values in a config file to tell it the database, table, username and password fields, and any other condition (e.g., "status=active") needed to authenticate.

Should not be this question then asked from Invision Board support?

We would be able to help, but not in the forum, of course. You know where our helpdesk is located... :)
