hello, I just recently purchased and had amember intsatlled for me to my domain and am now trying to link and customize the templates. I have read through the manual again and again and am still very confused. I understand that there are templates that are meant for he public area and those for admin but I don't know how these should be linked up and in what order. I also really don't get how to set up the header and footer thing: can somone please post an example for me with everything included, the "here" and the script. Does the header and footer have to go on all amember pages? Also, how do I set what url amember returns to after the customer pays? As you can see I am completely new to this and very frustrated after already hiring an outside source to set it up for me who jacked for $200 and left me with nothing! Now I have to sort it out myself. WHat I really need is just a much more detailed description of what actually needs to be done just to get the membership thing going, I just want it so that after they pay through paypal it redirects them to a members area with a password. Please help me!!!!! Thanks
CGI-Central provides free setup and initial configuration of aMember Pro, I'm not sure why would you need to hire anyone for price bigger than aMember Pro cost to do just installation. Anyway, you can contact us via helpdesk and we will check your configuration and help you with templates. Please attachl HTML page which you would like to use as source for header and footer for all aMember pages (or just provide URL where to get this page on your website).
