Hi, I want to set up a two day free trial, after the ending of the trial the user will be locked out. This is standard amember functionality. But how to configure amember in order to avoid the same customer coming back and start a new two day trial? If the customer wants to have access again he has to enter into a paid subscription. Could anyone advise how to achieve that?
You can disable the trial from being ordered if active/expired already- but this wont prevent someone from using a new email. This is why we often use a $1 trial, at least you are sure they are willing to spend $ at some point. Also if you use a payment system like paypal- you can have the system set their email to their paypal email- thereby disallowing them from using the same email 2x. David
David, Thanks for your prompt reply. A pity that doesn't work so I 'll have to think about a workaround. Is it possible to incorporate in the activation email (after a successful payment) a coupon code? Or if this is not possible a separate (automated) e-mail with the coupon code to this customer?
