I've got a site running aMember, www.logic-fu.com. I can login to my members area just fine. The aMember license is registered for this domain. But I also own a domain with close spelling, www.logicfu.com. Only difference is the hyphen is missing. This url redirects to the same site. The site loads just fine. The problem is that I can't login to my member's pages when I'm using the www.logicfu.com url. I get an error message that says Then it gives me a link to login to the control panel to fix the problem, but it directs me to the "Fix AMember Pro License Key" page, which looks like this (I've blocked out my license key obviously): I'd like to be able to login from this domain too, otherwise the re-directed url serves no function. Can I add the other url to the license key somehow? Thanks, Kevin
License is specific to the domain, no matter how close it is.. I'm not sure if aMember allows multiple domains for one license.. would suggest emailing support.
I would simply make www.logicfu.com redirect to www.logic-fu.com. 301 redirect in an htaccess file should do the trick. David
Thanks for the help. I went and checked with my Bluehost cPanel and they have a handy 301 redirect feature built right in (under the domain control features), and it works perfectly now. Thanks again.
