I have read somewhere in the FAQ's how to combine vBulletin and amember.. which I'm going to integrate as soon amember supports paypal pro.
    This description is clear.

Now my question is how amember interacts with typo3. I don't think typo3 is capable of administrating all the usergroups... could you describe how those two interact and if i.e. the following works: a user is registered in the forum... now is it possible that typo3 recognizes this user as loged in? Or does the user have to login twice?

Typo3 is able to handle usergroups (at least it was able when I developed the plugin :)

    hi alex,
    but how does it work?
I define usergroups in vB and I define usergroups in typo3.... do they have to have the same name that they can interact with each other? Or how does the interaction work?

When you install vB3 plugin for aMember, new field in product settings will appear, named "vBulletin Access group" - you choose a value from your existing vBulletin groups.

The same will happen when you install Typo3 plugin.
