Unable to change text for '_TPL_SIGNUP_MULT_GETCOUP'

Dear All,

I would like to edit the text in the following line from:

define ('_TPL_SIGNUP_MULT_GETCOUP', 'if you get any coupon code from advertising,%s please enter it here');

To

define ('_TPL_SIGNUP_MULT_GETCOUP', 'if you get any coupon code from COMPANY NAME,%s please enter it here');

However, when I change the text for this message in language/en.php the change does not happen when I test the page at signup.php

I've even tried to change en-custom.php by placing the following in this file:

define ('_TPL_SIGNUP_MULT_GETCOUP', 'if you get any coupon code from COMPANY NAME,%s please enter it here');

It still doesn't work.

Can anyone help me fix this please?
