Hello, I was wondering if it were possible to have a unique file for a unique client and no other clients would be able to see any file other than his own e.g. client1 downloads client1.zip client2 downloads client2.zip however client2 CANNOT see or download client1.zip and vice versa. Is this possible? It seems that if client1 logs in and downloads his file and sees where it's stored he can type in the address manually and dowload client2's zip file e.g client1's file url is www.mysite.com/downloads/client1.zip client2's file url is www.mysite.com/downloads/client2.zip So client1 figures since his file is at the at downloads he poaks around and finds it. Yes, there are .htaccess files but there's ways to get around them. The problem is that the .htaccess .htgroup .htpasswd files in the data folder allows access to the download folder to "anyone" who's a member. thanks
Ask amember for their personal folder plugin- I dont think its listed on the order page so you have to send in a support ticket to get it. David
Just a question... Why are there many unlisted, but useful plugins not publicly listen on the aMember site?
LOL I hear ya'. They are great at customer support though, I gotta hand it to them. Just tryna get a copy of aMember (my update subscription ran out the other week and I need to redownload the aMember core files - don't ask) so I'm in talks at the moment.
