I want 99% of my site to be protected. However, some pages I want available to the public (such as a custom page on payment and member package options). Instead of navigating the maze of protection settings for each and every new post, it seems the simple way to accomplish this is to turn on protection for the entire site and then de-activate protection for the very few pages I want unprotected. Short of adding an "unprotect" button to the aMember page/post controls is there a simple way for me to accomplish this with PHP or... do I have to build a complete page outside of Wordpress (not ideal.)

Was there a resolution to this?

I implemented 2 installations of Wordpress. One for the general public (full site public) and another for memberships only (full site locked down). aMember was able to integrate member logins to both sites without any issues.
