I followed the upgrade instructions in the amember manual and now I have nothing visible in my browser. I am not getting a 404 url error. It's that there is nothing showing. I just paid $80 for another upgrade and don't know that i want to pay $40 to have it installed when it should install as per instructions. Any ideas???!

Upgrade was not done right. /amember/config.inc.php was removed and because of your server configuration you have display_error disabled in php, so you just see blank page instead of error messages. I just sent you a reply in helpdesk.

    Help Desk Tickets?

Alex, I've posted three times on help desk since last night and none of my tickets are showing up. I can't find your response.

i found the config.inc.php file....it's in the admin folder. you are saying it should be in the "amember" directory? ( amember/config.inc.php )

Don't move that one. It's a different file.

Download full program from aMember, open the 'config-dist.inc.php' in amember folder. Manually enter the mySQL database login details then upload it to amember folder as 'config.inc.php'

I'm not sure I can do that without screwing up anything. It's probably over my head.

    figured it out

i went through the whole process again and it did finally upgrade. not sure why it worked second time around. i think i must have deleted amember folder instead of trying to overwrite it. also, changed a php setting on my server.
