We sell a one-year auto-renewing membership to our site (the sliver membership) for $50. We would like to start selling a gold membership for $74 which gives access to additional content. It seems easy enough to sell this gold membership to new members by creating a new gold-membership-product in aMember. We would charge $74 now and then charge $74 in each subsequent year. Since we have had this membership site for a while, different members have varying months remaining on their silver memberships. So, we would like to charge a member who has 12 months left on his membership $24 to upgrade to gold. However, we would like to charge a member who has 2 months left on his membership $2 to upgrade to gold and then charge the member $74 when the gold membership renews in 1 month. How do we setup this "uprgrade to gold" at different prices? Note: We use WP and aMember's wordpress plugin. Thank you,
Very tough- the system doesnt have anything like that built in. What payment system are you using? The only option available at the moment is if you are using a local CC payment system like authorize to bill from your server, then you can have them upgrade to the larger package and have the system cancel the old level. This works best with monthly subscriptions though. David
