    Hey all,

Okay, so I wanted to make sure that upgrading my version Amember to the latest would be seamless, so what I did was:

    • duplicate the amember database to a different name
    • duplicate the amember folder to a different name (amember_new)
    • upgraded the amember_new to the latest version (with the duplicate database)
    • changed all my template files etc
    • Everything working! Yay

But while doing all this, people were still purchasing using the old installation (and the old database), hence making the new database obsolete.

I don't want to stuff things up....how can I upgrade the old database to the latest version. If someone could offer step by step instructions, that would be really appreciated.

    Thanks guys....

    Ronnie

I think you should use the 2nd install as your template roadmap.
Once the template is fixed up- then update the original install, and upload the new template files.
