We are in the middle of offering a new product that will coexist with our current one. However you will only be eligible for the second product if you have the first one. What we would like to do is offer them as a single product, compute the remaining time left on the first product assign it a value and offer it as a discount toward the combined product. Ie 3 months of the first product costs $90 US so you get that credited toward this new combined membership if you have 3 months remaining. As far as I can tell there is no way to do a per sale discount other than by creating a product group for each signup page. I was considering directly inserting the payments into the amember database and forcing the cron job to run, but I need the initial payment to be less than the subsequent recurring payments. Any insight on the best way to do this would be appreciated.
This is possible but will require customization. Customization will depends on payments systems that you will use.
