I am currently running a vBulletin (3.8.4 PL1) test forum and testing out the free version of aMember to make sure it fits my needs, so far so good.

Before I install it on the live forum I am having an issue currently where I have done a new member sign up and a test payment (using a different email and Paypal account), but in the (aMember) member page it does not show that this test user has any active subscriptions.

In the aMemberCP it shows that this test user's status is pending and payments never.

Is this because I am currently using the vBulletin built-in subscription and using that link in my IPN in Paypal? Or am I missing something else?

When I manually add a new member and subscription it works great.

Any guidance and direction would be appreciated.

IPN url does not matter for paypal_r plugin because it set correct url for each payment.
What you have in Error/Debug log in regards to your test payment?

There is nothing in the Error/Debug log for this payment.

Ok. Then check in your paypal account IPN history and make sure that IPN message for that payment really was sent. Also try to resend IPN messages for that payment.

    Hi Alexander,

Okay looks like the payment was sent.

But then all of a sudden a light went on in my head (duh), my test forum is password protected (as per VB rules) so of course it's not going to be able to send it, it's being blocked.

Thanks again and sorry for the bother.
