Just checking to make sure I am using amember correctly:

I am using vBulletin to provide content (vBulletin CMS) and forums access (vBulletin forum). I have setup groups inside vBulletin so that regular users cannot see the premium content except for the homepage of the CMS which I am using as a sales page.

I have installed amember and created a product that - upon payment - creates the user account in vBulletin and adds the subscriber to the premium user group in vBulletin. The premium usergroup has access to the paid content. So, I let amember handle the paid subscription and I let vBulletin handle the content protection.

I have a different folder that holds some video tutorials that are part of the paid subscription. I am linking to those videos from within vBulletin articles. I cannot protect this folder from vBulletin, but I need to prevent access to non-paying users. So, I created a protected folder from amember for the video tutorial folder.

I think this scenario does what I want:

    amember
    - protect my video tutorials
    - handles the paid subscriptions

    vBulletin
    - protects the premium content

Is this the correct setup or do I need to have amember create a protected folder for vBulletin as well?
