I'm extremely upset! I have had aMember for 5 months, and was under the impression that this was a one time fee. Today, just 5 months later, my license is expired! What kind of crap is that? I would have expected today to be busy day with my membership site, as it is Mother's Day, and I cater to that market. Now... I'm completely closed for business. I can't even log into my own application that I purchased. Who knows how long it will be before aMember sees the support ticket. Not sure why they have an expiration. Bad business!
They don't have an expiration on a paid copy! Once the chargeback period is over (approx 16 weeks) you are issued with a full lifetime liscense) which you were notified of at time of purchase, and can be downloaded from the members area. This is most likely the reason for your error. Its not a problem with aMemeber. Failing that being the case, as you maybe (or maybe not) know, there are a number of possible reasons for the error. Half of which don't relate to the script at all and relate to miswrites, misreads and other server errors, including errors caused possibly by YOU. So rather than jumping to conclusions and bad mouthing people maybe a little patience (seeing it's the weekend) and even maybe a little intelligent investigation by you might be a good idea Just like cars, licenses shouldn't be issued for software to people who can't drive. When you order aMember, you get a license number that is valid for 4 months only. Before these 4 months pass and if you haven't done a chargeback, you will get a new license that expired in year 2099 which should be more than enough... You should have gotten the new license in email with subject line "*** New aMember Pro License Key" so try searching for that one. Or login to your aMember member area and you will find the new license key there. Then copy and paste the new license key into your aMember CP and it will all work just fine. Tomas
