Hello all, I work for CyberChimps.com and we are a WordPress theme development company. We are looking for a new ecommerce/member solution. AMember appears to be capable of everything we need, and as a reference we are looking for something along the lines of what woothemes.com is doing (although not quite as complex will all the subscription levels). I have a little project outline drafted up so I will copy and paste that below (excuse the length): Overview: A new eCommerce solution for CyberChimps.com which integrates a members area, an affiliate network/plugin and a limited-access BBPress powered customer forum. The solution needs to support secure, digital downloads, generate accurate statistics, and use the WordPress User system for integration with BBPress. Store: The store is the central element which ties into everything else. The experience would ideally go as follows: A customer purchases one or more themes, and in the process of making a purchase they are registered with a CyberChimps user account. This account gives them access to the members-only page which features all of their purchased products and the corresponding download links, as well as access to the associated customer-only forum(s). The store needs to support coupons, and be able to integrate with a major affiliate network/plugin. We are looking to use shareasale, and have some code that needs to be integrated with aMember. Members-only Area: This area is tied to the account the customer creates when purchasing a product. It contains a list of the products they have purchased, a means of re-downloading the product, and an easy way to change their password. This area needs to be structured so that when a customer checks out (purchases a new product) with their existing account, their new products will automatically show up on their members-only page. Forum: The forum, which will be powered by BBPress, needs to have two elements. The free forums will be open for anyone to register and get support from one another, and the customer-only forums need to be tied to the accounts created when the customer purchases a theme. If the customer purchases additional themes, the corresponding forums need to become available to them. Users who purchase multiple themes need access to each corresponding forum. Other notes: 1. Everything needs to be automated, no more sending download links, no more manually adding people to the customer-only forums. One account to rule them all, one account to bind them. 2. If there is a way to convert over the existing user groups we have set up with simple-press that would be extremely ideal. Any kind of way to convert our existing forum user base to the new system would be ideal. 3. If we decide to use a subscription model in the future, the solution needs to be scalable to accommodate this. (Obviously aMember can accommodate this, just wanted to say it for the record). The ideal candidate for this position needs to be familiar with integrating aMember with WordPress and BBPress. Price is negotiable, we are willing to do an hourly rate or a flat fee. Again, check out woothemes.com for an example of the direction we're wanting to head. People interested in the job can reply, PM me or email cyberchimpspro@gmail.com with the subject aMember job. We are interested in getting this started as soon as possible.
