Actually, I didn't figure it out So I did a fresh install of Amember 4.2.10 and fill out the install/setup stuff and everything is OK and it says it installs fine. The problem is, when I try to login as the admin, it says I have the wrong password. When I put my email address in to get emailed the right password, it says there is no user with that email. I deleted and re-installed everything 3 times so I know I am putting the right username/password/email address etc.
I tried to login from the Admin login. Just for the heck of it I tried from the member login page also and no luck. I just re-installed fresh and I know I have the username and password correct but it gives me this error message: The user name or password is incorrect
Ive got no ideas for you- havent heard of this before- my only suggestion would be to delete the datebase and try again- enter the password in a text file, and make sure you copy and paste it this time. David
I've never heard about problems like this. Try to really delete MySQL database and do full reinstallation. If it does not help, submit a ticket.
