Obviously Paypal requires one to sign up for a paypal account for automatic recurring billing. What if you just set it up so that it sends out an email with a paypal 'pay now' link every month, (or whatever the period), set for the price that it would cost each month. Of course, the user has to pay each month, but if they don't want to create a paypal account, then so be it. So, in the sign up process, you explain to them, if you don't want to create a paypal account, you will be required to pay the monthly fee when requested by email (say a week prior, and then a day prior as reminders). If you would rather the amount be deducted automatically, then create a paypal account, it only takes a few minutes. What about that for a solution?
Or, another option is Clickbank - would paying by clickbank solve the issues of someone having to create a paypal account to be automatically billed every month?
I believe Paypal creates an account no matter what method you use. I occassionally get a complaint about this, but not often. Clickbank doesn't require this. David
Actually you don't have to create a paypal accout for one off paymetns, but for recurring you do. as for clickbank, I can't use that idea because the recurring product I want to create is only accessible to those who have purhcased another one of my products, which I don't list on Clickbank - so back to the drawing board Glad to hear you don't get too many complaints
