I am considering Amember and have a few questions. My membership site will be a Wordpress site with videos etc and I want to have a website forum (simple forum) and integrate with paypal for payments, and possibly mailchimp for mail and autoresponders as well as of course integrate with Wordpress. Based on this, would Amember work out of the box or would I need to buy plugins and if so, which ones? Thanks.
Yeah, i would recommend the wordpress plugin from amember, and the amprotect for wordpress and ammail for mailchimp from ken gary. David
David, Thanks for the reply. This is what confuses me though...The wordpress and ammail plugins make sense but I don't see why I would need the amprotect plugin, isn't Amember powerful enough to do all the protection without needing additional protection plugins?
amember itself does not portect content in worpress. It only can add users into wordpress and assign user to role/level. So protectionstill should be set in wordpress using additional plugins.
