    Hello to all!

Im just learning aMember, but I don't know one thing which would be very important for me:

I have paid content on my site, and I would like a Free group for it

    Free group:
    -can join anyone
    - it's free for 1 day and after 1 day is expired, the member can't renew it and can't choose this group again anymore but the he can able to choose a paid membership

I've already tried to do it, but my setting is wrong because it never expired. I don't know why.

I would use aMember with my Wordpress.

    Thanks in advance

    Period 1 day
    price: 0
    recurring, unchecked.

should give you a 1 day free product. Then set it not to allow the member to signup for the same product.

This is probably not effective for getting paid members.
Most sites will do a 7 or 30 day free trial followed by forced continuity.

    Looks ok to me.
Suggest sending in a support ticket. The system may not be able to handle a 1 day only access. (never seen this tried before)

1 day membership in aMember will end on 23:59:59 of next day.
So in your example if user will signup at 08/23/2011 03:54:37
he will be active till 08/24/2011 23:59:59
    Is that user active still?

So if someone Signup Info: Time: 08/25/2011 06:59:48 then his account will be expired at 08/26/2011 23:59:59 and will be inactive, right?

Okay, so here's the result. 1 day free period is over. The user is still in ACTIVE, but she can't access the protected content because she will be redirected to member.php which says 'You have no active subscriptions
    Please use Add/Renew subscription form
    to order or renew subscription.
    '

She can not able to renew her Free membership again, just can sign up for any paid membership, which is perfect for me, but then I don't understand Why I see her ACTIVE???

Can you provide screenshot of that user's aMember CP -> Edit User -> User Payments screen.
