When a membership expires....

    I want to have two options for my customers.

    They can purchase a recurring yearly membership for : $49

    or a one year onetime membership for $49.


    The membership is a newsletter that is sent through aweber.

    Is there a way for me to be notified when the onetime purchasers expire? I need to delete them from aweber when they expire and do not renew.


    Also what happens when they renew early, how does amember calculate this? Does it start counting on the date of renewall or from the original renew date?

    I think if you are using paypal, you can set up aweber to automatically cancel the subscription with the aweber/paypal email parser. See the aweber site for details.

    It should continue from the expiration date, but i think the rebilling date will be the date they resubscribe.

    I suggest though that you only offer the autorenewal option. I don't think your conversions will suffer and you'll make more money. Just make sure you tell them they can cancel at any time.
