When members upgrade to a lifetime membership...

    Hey all,

    I got everything running smooth but I got a customer question the other day and although I thought I knew how to handle it... I was wrong again!

    We have two subscription types... monthly membership (where member are charged a monthly fee) and we have liftetime membership (where members pay a larger amount up front and have no monthly fees).

    This member asked if she could upgrade from monthly to lifetime. I setup a new product in amember for the upgrade option.

    I have it all setup so that the upgrade option only appears to monthly membership members with current subscriptions.

    That's all perfect but here's the kicker...

    How do I make it so that when a monthly member purchases the "upgrade" they are moved into the "lifetime member" class of customers AND are no longer charged the recurring fees through 2checkout?

    It is impossible to change 2CO subscription from aMember. NO WAYS to do that. You have to monitor these orders and cancel billing manually in 2CO control panel.
