1.5RC1 is out and installing aMember on top of it corrupts everything...

    Amember gives a:

    MYSQL ERROR:
Unknown column 'group_id' in 'field list'
    in query:
SELECT group_id, name FROM jos_core_acl_aro_groups WHERE name != 'ROOT' AND name != 'USERS'

After save and that's that. If you installed the Mambot plugin in Joomla you're locked out. Gives you a "Restricted Access" no matter where you go...

Renaming plugins/system/amember.php solves the Jommla issues. But I haven't found a solution to aMember yet.

I'm looking forwad to aMember's official reply.

But aMem integrates with Joomla in a fairly non-complicated way. I'd bet the aMember team is just waiting for Joomla 1.5 to be released. Then they'll redo the login mambot. Hopefully they're keeping an eye on, and testing, the latest Joomla RC to make sure aMember is ready and able when 1.5 is released. Especially considering everyone will be making the switch fairly quickly.

Yes I can confirm that existing plugin does not work with 1.5 and we will redo plugin when 1.5 final will be released.

How long will it take to release a plugin from that 1.5 is released? Aproximately... The RC1 code should not change much.

    Does it support Joomla 1.0.13?

Amember is waiting...i have the same issue, even though Joomla shares to run with RC of 1.5 as it is so drastic from 1.0.13 and upgrading a site is a nightmare.

Hoping Amember steps up sooner than later.
