Where do you enter or edit "coupon codes"? On the help page it should this when you create a new coupon: http://www.amember.com/docs/Using_Coupons But when I do it, I only see this:
After you enter the coupon information and click on the "Save" button at the bottom, the coupons will be generated. Then you will see them listed on the Coupon Batches" page. From this page you can edit the coupons as needed.
click "return" to back to table view. then on the generated batch click on third icon in "Actions" tab.
No you aren't crazy, it's just a bad coding and process on the part of amember. I second that this be fixed in the future. It would be much easier and straightforward if you create a coupon and enter your own code right away (rather than later).
I believe that is a usability problem because it is unclear what all these pictures mean. We will just change icon back to text "Coupon Codes" and I hope it will resolve the problem.
This process is definitely NOT intuitive, NOT documented and NOT anything like the process in the previous version. This is not the only thing. There are several, which if documented, may not be that bad.
Here is the Coupon documentation page. After you create the coupons they are listed on the Coupon homepage. There are 4 icons in the "Action" section. When you hover over the icons you will see (via a tool tip) that one icon is for viewing coupons (#3) I added this additional information to the Coupon Page just now. This is often the case when a product is totally redesigned.
Thanks for adding the info, but I create product and scripts as well, and they are always documented before being released. It's good planning that save my customers tons of frustration and saves me time from answering tickets. Something that is a slow process here.
@GSWAIM Do you see anything wrong with settings as they are here? The only 2 things I could think of is: 1-A date is required, or 2-The % of sale is not working properly Any ideas?
I know there have been some issues when using the 100% discount with certain CC processors. I would start a support ticket and let aMember take a look.
I have had support tickets and threads for over a week and no one, I mean no one, not even Alex has given me anything more than cursory one line responses with zero meaning. Thanks for your time, I greatly appreciate it.
Roger, Please check my reply in this thread: http://www.amember.com/forum/threads/amember-4-wso-pro-integration-possible.14374/page-2 and in this thread: http://www.amember.com/forum/threads/coupons-not-working.11420/#post-61926 Btw coupons issue is fixed as well, I sent you a reply with explanation in helpdesk. But I will post it here just in case:
You continue to tell me the coupon code issue is fixed but I am TELLING THAT IS NOT FIXED. Please do not do a cursory look and declare all to be fixed. It is not. No matter what you say. Take another look!
