I have used both swreg and paypal and I believe overall, that swreg is the better value. The downside to SWREG is it's clumsy to setup and you have to wait for money / income to be deposited. They are now allowing me to have it deposited once a week, but the invoice record is messy, which leads me to prefer the more concise once a month deposit. *SWREG assigns every order a unique ID or order number, making tracking a breeze.. *Account/signups can also be downloaded as CSV files, which is GREAT if your server crashes and you don't have a current amember backup. Paypal allows direct "on demand" access to earnings, but it offers no good solution to order tracking. Which Payment sys is preferred here and why? How is Stormpay?
SWREG is possible the best system for selling software. We are using it. It is wrong to compare it with PayPal, because it is different things for different goals. You may of course, use both systems in the same time with aMember. PayPal also has MORE advanced programming interface and of course, it assigns unique id to each transaction. StormPay is not comparable with any of above.
