I've installed the aMember demo to a new SQL DB but couldn't test the Wordpress integration without the plugin. So I've purchased a Pro copy and wanted to get feedback on best practices and suggestions.

I have a new Wordpress install which will have some protected pages and posts with paid annual memberships. I'll have to import their current member list but first I want to know if it's possible/suggested to use a single SQL Db for both WP and aMember?

I have Wordpress installed. I also have aMember installed to it's own DB but now I'm struggling to get the Plugin to WP configured. Not sure if my host is not allowing external login etc.. Hence my questions should I re-install aMember to the existing WP DB for the site?

If there's a suggested best practices I can read or follow please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Bob

You can place wordpress and amember in the same database, they use a different prefix. But its not a best practice- better to place them in separate databases, and if possible, add the amember user to the database with all privileges- this helps in integration.
