ok so i have them integrated and working. However, I'm looking for a couple of suggestions- I'm selling a monthly membership site for lets say $97 per month. Lets say I would like to sell one of the posts / pages as a stand alone product without the buyer getting access to all the other content? For example. Say my membership site is at www.yoursite.com/members with the wordpress blog at /members And I create a post called product i want to sell at /members/product-i-want-to-sell/ How can I protect this individual post to the folks that buy this one product yet didn't sign up for the rest of the /members area? I have the hide post plugin as well as the role manager installed in wp thanks in advance derek
What you basically want to do is to sell individual "products" and serve them in wordpress? Theres a few ways you can do it: 1) I teach a hack method with the hidepost plugin and use the incremental content plugin (icp) with it. 2) use the ICP and "the bridge" plugin 3) use Ken Gary's am-protect plugin David
@davidm1: Would one of your 3 suggestions be used to protect the entirety of www.yoursite.com/blog as well (vs. individual posts as derekpierce's scenario calls for) or is there a different method?
You would need a different install of wordpress: www.yoursite.com/blog, www.yoursite.com/blog1 www.yoursite.com/blog2 for each content item then. not the way i would suggest... David
