    Hi all,

Maybe some of you experts can help me out on what plugins I need, if any at all.

My membership site will be an actual course lasting at least two years. I need to be able to drip feed content to members so that members who are on month 24 get acess to month's 24 content PLUS all other past months and members from month 1 only get content from month 1, and so on.

Is this a straight forward process?

    yes.

you will need amember, wordpress, incremental content plugin and incremental bridge (http://www.amemberincremental.com/)

    that's it.

and putting those ingredients all together is rather a straight forward process... for technical people at least.

If you want all members to see the teaser text of the content, you can do it with the wordpress plugins hidepost and rolemanager, and the amember plugin Incremental Content Plugin.

This is the method I teach.

Thanks all..... I am still wondering, what is the use of the Amember WP plugin? What does it do?

    Thanks once again

The amember plugin, copies amember data to wordpress so that members can comment etc.. It also allows you to set levels for the amember products, and copies that to wordpress when they order so that wordpress (with the hidepost plugin) can decide if the member can see/not see the content.

I notice the role manager plugin is no longer available in the Plugins ADD NEW. What replaces that now?

I'm now recommending using Ken Gary's amprotect plugin- it replaces both hidepost and role manager plugins.
