I am in the process of setting up a membership site that will have WordPress on the "front end" with regular posts displayed. Then, behind that I want to run the membership part of the website completely separately, accessed from the blog by "Sign In" and "Join Now" links.

The completely separate, Members Only part of the web site will be drip-fed reports at specified intervals.

It looks as if I would also need the Incremental content plugin, but because, apart from logging in, the entire membership segment would be separate from the WP blog, would I still need the WP plugin?

Also, as described, would this set-up work with aMember?

    Thanks - Anne

If you dont need your members to be added to the wordpress database, or using wordpress to serve the content to people based on levels, then you dont need the plugin.

    So you would have
    /rootwordpress
    /amember/
    /protected-area-with your contents

    Hey annie,

For the aMember and Incremental Content plugin setup, consider using The Bridge to manage your drip-fed content with Wordpress.
