I've been working on this for the past few days, and I just can't seem to get Amember working with Wordpress. I have 2 main problems.

    1. When I sign up, the user level should be set to 1, but the user level doesn't get passed on to WP.

    2. Even if I log in to the admin on WP, and manually set the user level, I can logout, and then try to log in as a user, I still don't see the protected content. I've tried the post-level plugin and the hidepost plugin, and the content remains hidden.

you haven't set up the plugin properly then (remember to set the user level in product details in amember too).

I have set the user level in both the plugin and the product details, but it just won't get passed to WP. The user role gets passed just fine, but not the user level.

    Use the plugin Role-Manager.

    Do I need role-manager?

I just installed AMP and configured it to work with WP. Will begin testing today.
Are you saying that I also need to install the Role-Manager plugin for AMP to work with my WP installation?

I use Role-Manager and Hidepost for my integrations.
