We've got a site on Member 4.1.12 running Wordpress. When a user is logged in and clicks logout, it is redirecting them to the Wordpress login page. Instead we want them to use the aMember settings we set which directs the user back to the homepage. Our pages use AM Shortcodes not the GUI so we can't simply select the drop down in the GUI. Is there a setting we can change in the template? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi David, No we are not using the widget. We are talking specificially about links generated from the aMember Protecting shortcodes in aMember 4.
So the logout link you are using, thats displayed in the error message to non-members is the amember logout link? This should redirect them back to the URL you have set in the amember setup area in amember. David
Guess what we figured out? The original programmer had no idea what he was doing. He hardcoded php code into the wordpress template and also linked to the wrong page. Anyway... been pulling my hair out for days trying to figure out where this stuff was coming from. Thanks for trying to help.
