    Is the fact that I've put Wordpress on a subdomain the reason for not being able to log in? Instead, after logging in, the url shown is http://www.domainname.com instead of http://members.domainname.com

    How can I get the login to go to the right url so that members can get to the right pages? The correct folder is protected, although I had to manually alter the url to show the subdomain.

    Would it simply be easier to get rid of the subdomain and just have the thing as a directory?

    I think I've looked everywhere I can to find it, but no luck. I'm using amProtect and it's picking up new members OK, just that they can't get to where they need to go.

    Any help gratefully received!

    Easiest way is to put wordpress on a sub-directory.
    There is a hack to allow for sub-domain, cant think of where i saw it now.

    @Skippy you remember it?

    I agree with davidm1, having wordpress as a subdirectory off of the primary domain is the preferred method.

    That being said, do you have a product URL set for your aMember product? Set it to http://members.domainname.com, if this is the only product the user has they should be auto directed to that URL.

    Where are users loggin in? aMember? Wordpress sidebar widget?

    Logging in through aMember.....

    Thinking of dumping the subdomain and re-installing wordpress in the same name subdirectory, if aMember can't find it, that is

    I'll usually put amember in a subdirectory /members or /secure
    and put wordpress in the root / or sub of its own /access
