I'm trying to set-up the Wordpress plugin, and when I enter my database name in the configuration screen, I get the following error:

wordpress Board Db and Prefix - incorrect value. Error: Access denied for user: 'dbo194665046@%' to database 'db203771069'.

I emailed my webhost (1and1.com) and asked how to give database access to user dbo194665046. This is what they said:

"As to your query, we regret to inform you that it is not possible to access another mysql database using a different username of a different mysql database because of security and permission reasons."

Has anyone ever ran into this? Is there any way around it?

Thanks in advance - Michael Pollock

    Michael,
If your host does not allow to create one user to access both databases, you need to reinstall wordpress and use aMember's database (or vice versa)
After this will be done you will need just specify wordpress tables prefix (wp_) in plugin configuration.
