Is it possible to run both the vBulletin Plugin as well as the WordPress plugin? What I'm looking to do is run both vBulletin and WordPress on my website and restrict access to content via usergroups (subscriptions). Has anyone done this? Is this even possible? I sent support an email over 24 hours ago asking this question but still no response. Thanks!
So I have both plugins (wordpress and vbulletin) installed and everything appears to be working correctly except for the single login in Wordpress. It won't seem to log me in to Wordpress. It does call to aMember and logs me in there however when it redirects me back to Wordpress the same login area is showing. I sent you a support ticket reagarding this.
It appears that the "Post-Levels" plugin you guys recommend is obselete and does not function as it should. Are you aware of this? I like the levels idea but it the post preview feature does not work. Any suggestions? THe above issue still hasn't been resolved either.
There is an updated plugin "Post-Levels 2" here: http://www.datarave.net/zfh/2009/01...ug-fix-release/?dsq=20799801#comment-20799801 however it is not fully functional in WordpRess 2.8. I'm surprised that you guys weren't aware of this yet it is such a large part of the aMember / Wordpress functionality. Is there anyother way to Protect posts/pages in Wordpress?
I teach using role manager and hidepost. Theres also some 3rd party plugins like Ken Gary's amprotect. David
Thanks for the link to amProtect. Looks like what I need. What do you mean by "teach" though? What is "role manager"? Thanks!
@d4webdesign: David runs Membership Academy where he trains folks on how to setup, run and market their membership websites. Role Manager is a 3rd party plugin for Wordpress which gives you control over user capabilities.
