So I understand per the instructions to make up your own "aMember integration security key" and enter it on the amember side. But where do you paste that in on the Wordpress side?

    7. Go to Settings -> aMember Settings and set amember Root URL (should be exactly the same as in aMember CP -> Setup -> Global -> Root URL)
and aMember Integration Security Key should be set to the same value as in step 5

I have no extra value for aMember in the "settings" area of the control panel in wordpress. I only have the amember plugin appearing in Wordpress and that has no place to put in a security key. Can someone hlep?

I do have a successful connection but nothing appears for this security key.

Nuts... and even after setting everything I still can't get amember to add a new user to Wordpress. I just don't get it...

OK... errors in the install manual:

    1) The security key entry field is only revealed if you do the following:

    - Go to wp admin and go to plugins-amember-settings
    - in there choose xmlrpc instead of mysql and you'll see the entry field or you'll never see the field.

    2) There is no entry in the wp admin general settings are for the amember. They forgot to say plugins-settings and not wpadmin-settings
    - The manual forgets to tell you that you must choose xmlrpc in order to reveal the field to enter the secret key...

    3) I STILL can't get users to be added to the wp database even though there is a connection and the security key is entered and mysql connection works. No errors in the log. Very, very frustrating. phpmydirectory also doesn't work either. It DOES work with vbulletin so I know I've set things up properly...

Yes... as usual, you guys came through for me. Thanks again. I hope you can make the minor additions in the manual and the plugin pages. Excellent job as usual. Thank you very much!!!
